AGC


The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) is the leading association for the construction industry. AGC represents more than 26,000 firms, including over 6,500 of America’s leading general contractors, and over 9,000 specialty-contracting firms. More than 10,500 service providers and suppliers are also associated with AGC, all through a nationwide network of chapters.

TRIP



Founded in 1971, TRIP is a private nonprofit organization that researches, evaluates and distributes economic and technical data on surface transportation issues. TRIP promotes transportation policies that help relieve traffic congestion and its impact on air quality, improve road and bridge conditions, make surface travel safer, and enhance economic productivity. TRIP is sponsored by insurance companies, equipment manufacturers, distributors and suppliers, businesses involved in highway and transit engineering and construction, labor unions, and organizations concerned with an efficient and safe surface transportation network that promotes economic development and quality of life.

ARTBA


ARTBA was established in 1902 by Michigan public official Horatio Earle with this express purpose: to advocate for construction of a federally-led “Capital Connecting Government Highway” that he said would connect “every state capital with every other state capital, and every capital with the United States Capital-Washington.” Mission accomplished in 1956.

Highway Users Alliance



The American Highway Users Alliance is a nonprofit advocacy organization serving as the united voice of the transportation community promoting safe, uncongested highways and enhanced freedom of mobility.

Clean Water Coalition



The Clean Water Construction Coalition is a national organization of construction associations whose purpose is to promote federal legislation that improves water and wastewater infrastructure on a national level.

This coalition was formed in December 2005, and the first meeting of the group was conducted in Newark, NJ. Robert A. Briant, Jr., CEO of the Utility and Transportation Contractors Association of New Jersey, serves as chairman of the organization.
