Mitch Trucco Appointed Trustee on Laborers Insurance Fund
OCA recently named Mitch Trucco, president of Trucco Construction Company, Inc. to serve as a management trustee on the Laborers’ Insurance Trust Fund. Trucco will join current OCA trustees, Jim Ruhlin, of The Ruhlin Company, Bruce Huff, of The Harper Company, and Scott Erick, of Kokosing Construction Company, who, along with an equal number of union-appointed trustees, manage the affairs of the Ohio Laborers’ Insurance Fund.
OCA is grateful to Mitch Trucco and the other named trustees for devoting their valuable time and expertise toward this critical association and industry function. The primary responsibility of the trustees is to maintain the financial health of the Laborers’ insurance fund. This critical fiduciary responsibility is becoming more difficult and complex in the face of our country’s ongoing health insurance debate. OCA works with and through its dedicated management trustees to keep our multi-employer union funds financially healthy, legally compliant and fairly structured so as to provide health insurance plans that are both affordable for our union employers, and secure for our hard-working union employees.
Mitch also serves as an OCA-appointed trustee on the Cement Masons Union Local No. 1 Pension Fund.
