OCA’s Northeast Ohio YPN is giving back to the community by having a service project event! The group will start at Lake Abrams Marsh and will be replacing deck boards on the park’s boardwalk. Following the service project, we will head to for happy hour and networking! (Location to be Announced)

Required: Closed Toed Sturdy Shoes!

Recommended: Pants and shirts with long sleeves (no exposed ankles or arms), weather appropriate clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty, filled water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, and bug spray. Each participant will be required to submit an online waiver prior to starting. The link to this will be sent out to all registered participants 2 weeks prior to the event.

We encourage you to bring a group of young professionals from your company and invite others you think would like to attend for socializing and giving back.

Attendees will meet at the Eastland Road Trailhead for instructions and safety by the Metorparks. Tools and material are provided by the Metropark but please feel free to bring additional tools if desired. No experience required!

The project can be completed in a light rain, however if there is inclement weather there is a back-up date of September 23rd. This information will be communicated to registered members as best as possible.
