Deadline to Withdraw From OCA's LRD is February 1, 2022
The following OCA Highway/Heavy Labor Agreements will expire on April 30, 2022:
• Carpenters
• Cement Masons
• Laborers
• Teamsters Statewide A & B
• Teamsters Local 436 Cleveland Addendum Agreement
Linked above to this notice are current listings of OCA’s Labor Relations Division (LRD) members for each of the above unions. If your company is open shop and/or not included on any of the attached LRD lists, please disregard this notice.
IF YOU DO NOT INTEND TO CHANGE YOUR LRD STATUS, NO ACTION IS NECESSARY AT THIS TIME.
f you wish to withdraw from the LRD and revoke your assignment of bargaining rights to OCA for any or all the above unions, you must do so in writing at least 90 days prior to the expiration date of our agreements. (OCA Constitution, By-Laws, Labor Relations Division, Section 3).
If you wish to withdraw, please submit your written notice by February 1, 2022, to my attention in the OCA office. Email submissions are acceptable. You must also notify any union(s) involved.
WE ENCOURAGE ALL CURRENT LRD MEMBERS TO REMAIN IN OCA’S BARGAINING GROUP TO INSURE THE STRONGEST POSSIBLE “VOICE” IN OUR NEGOTIATIONS.
