Coronavirus Resources and Prevention Information
Please see several resources below that we wanted to share related to the Coronavirus situation as it relates to Ohio. There are currently no reported cases in Ohio but this information helps provide answers on how to reduce the spread of the virus, help protect employees from contracting the virus if it is found in Ohio and possible impacts on projects due to delays.
Please share with OCA if your company experiences any delays of materials due to supply chain disruptions as a result of the virus elsewhere so that we can help monitor the situation.
State of Ohio - Coronavirus Resources and Prevention Information
It is important to note that according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the risk to the general public in most communities is currently considered low. There have been no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ohio.
Here are several resources you can use to ensure your community is getting accurate, up-to-date information and that they are practicing proven prevention methods:
• You can access coronavirus.ohio.gov for constantly-updated information and guidance.
• Read the most accurate information on COVID-19 in this fact sheet (HERE) from the federal CDC.
• You can post this prevention infographic (HERE) on Twitter or Facebook or hang it on community bulletin boards in community buildings.

Hall of Fame Scholarship Program Applications being Accepted
Since 1996, OCA has awarded nearly $250,000 in scholarships to support promising future talent studying for careers in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Construction Management. Scholarships are available for students with graduating goals set at the associate and bachelor's degree levels. OCA recognizes the value that our Hall of Fame Scholarship recipients bring to our industry. These scholarships are for students enrolled in a degree program in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, or related studies.

Be a Part of the Marcum National Construction Survey
You’re invited to participate in the Annual Marcum Construction Survey. As in the past, Marcum (previously known as Skoda Minotti) will provide construction professionals in the Northeast Ohio region with the latest local trends and insights from the survey. In addition, we will now be including national results alongside our custom regional results to help give better perspective on how Northeast Ohio’s construction industry compares with the national industry.
The survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Each participant will receive the complete survey results and a detailed analysis of what they reveal about the current state of the construction industry, including predictions for 2021. In addition, Marcum will randomly select one participant each week to receive a $100 Visa gift card until the survey closes on March 31.
